And lastly, it seems like Yun Yun is going to be forced to try to either catch XY or worse kill him as Yun Shan's orders smh. Damn, I get she's loyal and also has duties as a Sect leader, but the fact he's letting his pride get in the way of his student's life is unforgivable. Putting her in a horrible position that she had no business being in is irresponsible, now he ruined a potential future husband and/or at least a powerful ally, also other powerful allies who're loyal to him smh. Maybe the donghua might give them a better ending, since we have a side story of Hai Dongpo and her Medusa's sister, who by the way never existed in the novel so there was never a romance between Hai Dongpo and Medusa's sister

They have that planned already, probably after 缘起 Yuan Qi finishes. There is no official news when they will be released, but if I have to guess, the side story Yuan Qi will be either in March or June, and season 5, Nian Fan will be either September or December, most likely June/December

You can see the trailer for 斗破苍穹缘起 and 斗破苍穹年番 if you search for them on youtube, it would seem they are at the final stages of completing Nian Fan

Ahh I forgot about Ya Fei, she was kind of forgettable towards the end, even though she did play a big part in helping the Xiao family multiple times

True but it is always opened for interpretation, I choose to believe that the ending for them was good If it was the Han sisters then I understand because that was clear cut that Xiao Yan wasnt really interested in them and it was one sided on their part even if they were beautiful, but Yun Yun, is different there is clear romance, Ya Fei was kind of weird, I know there were feelings but the ending was really out of the blue, if she wasnt mentioned at the end it would not have bothered me
Dont forget Xiao Yan is still young and he is very emotional in later parts of the novel, I seem to remember that he did say that if he was more mature during his conflict with Yun Lan sect, he would have done things differently, he would still destroy it but in a different way possibly an indication that he didnt want to hurt Yun Yun
But yes it is what it is, pity though, would have loved a re-write or at least the author write some more to clarify what exactly happens to the two of them, what was written in Da Zhu Zai I know the story is about Mu Chen but including some characters from WDQK and DPCQ was kind of trashy either write more and clear up what happened to the characters or dont

Yeah that was the overall feeling I got from him returning to YLZ the second time, he was very emotional, to some degree inconsiderate of the position YY was in. YLZ definitely needed to be "destroyed", but I definitely it should've been different. He literally ripped apart the only home YY has ever known, without giving her an alternative and that seems to be all she wanted, was a home.

well from what im seeing she more or less use as a face of the YL sect while YS operates in the background with his own agenda with the other sect masters sadly she doesn't have much of a choice when her master wants her to do something that being said i doubt she will try to kill XY maybe be torn while pursuiting him but more than a confrontation i doubt she will be serious in a fight no matter what her master's orders may be im just waiting for them to reconcile at some point ^_^

that much seemed obvious with the way YL acted, when they were in the palace discussing how to end the matter with Xiao family. YL kept on looking at YS, hoping he would chim in to stop YY from punishing him. That YL bastard is basically the reason YLZ ended and YS, should've cut him lose instead and leave XY alone.

yea i do agree thou YS is kind of drunk on power atm and he simply though he can kill XY when he came to seek retribution and simply show off his power to the rest of the nation as the top dog around honestly i will look very much forward to when my man XY kicks the YLS's ass and kills YS
